Why does the price go up after the first year?
Quick answerMany stores sell the first year cheap to win you over, then charge the normal price when you renew. The renewal price is what you will really pay each year. We show both, plus the 5-year total, and flag big jumps with ⚠️.
Where do these prices come from?
They come live from the public price list of Porkbun, a well known US domain store. We refresh it every 12 hours. Other stores charge different prices, and some special or short names cost more than the list price. The final price is always shown at checkout.
How to save money
- Look at the renewal price, not only the first year.
- Buy several years at once if the renewal price is low.
- Turn on auto-renew so you never lose your name.
- Skip extras you do not need at checkout.
Questions
What is the cheapest domain ending?
Sort the table by "Cheapest renewal" to see the endings that stay cheap year after year. A cheap first year can still mean a big renewal bill.
How much does a .com cost?
See the .com row in the table. It shows the live first-year and renewal price in US dollars.
Why do you show Porkbun prices?
Porkbun publishes a full public price list we can read live, so the numbers are real and current. We do not invent or estimate prices.
